Frozen pork and beef by-products in export cartons under cool warehouse light

Meat products

Meat by-products from PRC-approved plants, for the Chinese market.

Your sausage. Our case.

Pork, beef and other meat by-products, sourced from slaughterhouses approved for export to the People's Republic of China, mainly of European and American origin, and imported into China through our own company.

In short

Meat by-products are the parts of a carcass that fall outside the primal cuts: feet, hocks, bones, tongues, hearts, kidneys, tails and similar items, with a strong market in China.

Teijsen sources them from slaughterhouses that are PRC-approved, which means approved for export to the People's Republic of China, mainly in Europe and North and South America. The goods are imported into China through our own import company, so one organisation handles plant selection, documentation and delivery.

The range has three parts. Pork covers nineteen regular items, from front feet and hind hocks to spareribs, tongues and whole hearts. Beef covers cuts and by-products from North and South American plants, including a full forequarter programme. Other meat covers sheep, lamb, chicken, duck, fish and seafood.

Current availability and specifications are confirmed per lot; ask our sales team for the items you need.

Approved plants

Only plants that may ship to China.

Every by-product we offer comes from a slaughterhouse on the PRC approval list for its species. That approval, not price, is the first filter. The second is the plant itself: we work with the same European and American plants that supply our casings. Read how we audit and trace on the quality page.

One chain

From plant to China, in our own hands.

Teijsen imports into China through its own company, so sourcing, documentation and delivery sit with one partner. For you that means one specification, one contract and one point of contact from the European or American plant to the Chinese buyer. The same team handles natural casings; see the production page for both sites.

What a by-product buyer needs

An importer in China buys a by-product on three conditions: the plant is on the PRC approval list, the specification matches what the local market pays for, and the paperwork arrives with the container. Miss one and the goods wait at the port. Teijsen has built its meat business around those three conditions. Plants are PRC-approved for the species in question. Specifications are set per item and confirmed per lot. And because we import through our own company in China, documentation and delivery are handled by the same organisation that selected the plant.

How we source

  1. Plant selection. Only PRC-approved slaughterhouses, mainly in Europe, North America and South America. Many are the same plants that supply our natural casings.
  2. Item specification. Each item is specified per lot: cut, trim, packing and conditions. Nothing is assumed; ask for the current specification.
  3. Documentation. Plant approvals and shipment documents follow every container.
  4. Import into China through our own company, with the final buyer served directly.

The whole chain runs under the same IFS Food Higher Level system as our casings, 96.18 % in the 2026 audit; see the quality page.

The three ranges

Pork is the largest: nineteen regular items from front feet to riblets. Beef runs from tenderloin and striploin to a full forequarter programme. Other meat covers sheep, lamb, chicken, duck, fish and seafood. Availability changes per season and per plant, so tell our sales team which items you need and we confirm origin and specification.
